Q-What should I do if I need a roof and my house has Gutter Helmet on it?

A-Make sure you call your authorized Gutter Helmet dealer to remove the system for the roofing work to be done. DO NOT let an unauthorized dealer do it! This will not only void your Gutter Helmet warrantee but it will affect your shingle manufactures warrantee. Most Gutter Helmet dealers will perform the removal and re-installation for no charge except  the cost of new butyl tape and fasteners, if you award them the roof installation. Don’t let a roofer convince you that they can reinstall it, here is proof they can't!

Put your project in the hands of company you can trust.

Q-What is the difference between shingle vent and box vents and how do I know what to get?

A- In snow country, you should only get a ridge vent when you have an authentic cathedral ceiling. When you have the proper count of box vents or turbine vents to equal or exceed 1 square foot per 300 sqare feet of flat attic space, you will have better performance in the winter months than with a ridge vent.  The independent roof vents will clear themselves out faster than a 20, 30, or 40 foot ridge in turn, getting attic air flowing better.

Keep in mind the roof design and that there must be free passage from the eave to ridge with adequate insulation barrier for any roof or eave venting to work.
